Rating by category:
its proximity to the CTICC where I had some business meetings
the internet connection was horrible...
Excellant location and connected to all places. Very pleasing attitude of the staffs and neatness
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were huge, clean and fresh. And the view from our room on Table Mountain was amazing. I will most definitely stay here again. Great value for money!
Its location was really good...
Well the quality of the rooms were ok, I expected the room to be bigger according to the pictures but it was really small !! So I think I have paid for more than the room deserved... The room were also cold and you could see the wind blowing the curtains although the doors where closed! The food we've ordered to the room was cold also. The cleaning wasn't that good! One of the cleaners did an excellent job when the one that normally does it was away... but unfortunately that was only once!!
excellent value family room, nice staff, convenient airport shuttle
Excellent locality and value for money
Excellent location within walking distance to V&A Waterfront. Also, there is a free shuttle to/from the Clock Tower every 15 minutes. We stayed in a 2 room family suite, which was very large and comfortable. The kids had plenty of room to run around.
The pigeon pooh all over the windows (our room was on the corner where the birds like to sleep)...not exactly the hotel's fault but gross to see when looking out the window.
location & price
No bar, no restaurant menu, Fawlty Towers springs to mind
This was a very pleasant hotel conveniently right next to the CTICC. Clean and well appointed; the suite we stayed in was excellent.
The breakfast could do with some pre-cooked bacon as is usual in most hotels. Otherwise the breakfast was excellent.
Noise (street) was bad, ventilation poor and terrible fish/food type smell 24/7.
close to Convention Center
quality and presentation of food in restaurant and room service !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its closeness to the harbour and its V&A Waterfront shuttle service
The wireless internet connection is unacceptably poor
very good, location facility and comfort
The staff were exceptional - friendly and helpful. The hotel was undergoing renovation but it did not bother us much. The renovation has improved the hotel substantially. The family room was a wonderful size! Nice and close to the waterfront.
Our superior deluxe room was very nice and spacious. We asked for a quiet room and got a nice, quiet room on the 9th floor. There was a refrigerator (empty, though they would stock it on request) and safe in the room. The room service rates were surprisingly reasonable. They charged less, in fact, than if we had gone out to a modestly-priced restaurant for the same quality food. Breakfast was included in the rate and was a nice spread of hot and cold options. It was a bit strange to see curry for breakfast, but those were not the only options. The proximity to the cticc was perfect for us and the quick, free hotel shuttle to and from the waterfront area was a nice addition. There was also free wireless internet available in the lobby.
The hotel was renovating during our stay with the World Cup coming up. That caused a few inconveniences, but nothing big. That shouldn't affect future travelers, of course.
